Possibly. The ECC means Error Correction Capable, it's a standard for reducing memory errors, but like EDO in a 9500, a motherboard that can't support it will happily ignore it. The question as to whether the server memory will work in your shisen-shiyaku is if the server memory is EDO or not. If it's not labeled as such it may or not be EDO.
