I have one in my G3/300 MT. I added supplementary fans cooling in the MT's "handle" ... two small fans which happen to blow over the accessory cards, including the PC card. Crashes attributable to the PC card have vanished. On a 7300, you only have a 45 cubic foot per minute fan. The G3 DT's fan is the same. As an experiment, I replaced my G3 DT's fan with a fan rated 65 cubic feet per minute. The results were a reduction in G3 chip temperature from 97 degrees F to 85 degrees F.
