Hi--
Netscape 4.75 has been running great for ages,
on 7600/Sonnet G3/450, tons of RAM, OS 8.6.
Now, every few days it freezes on launch. Have to
restart. The only thing that fixes this is zapping the PRAM.
(I've tried DiskFirstAid, TT3, Virex: no problems found.
Rebuilding DT, running Disk Warrior, throwing out Finder prefs:
none of these work unless PRAM is zapped too.)
Any ideas what could cause this? I'd re-install NS if
I thought it would help. Is it worth hunting for an extension
conflict??
Thanks in advance,
Anna
