I use the Epson Stylus Photo 2000P for any archival photography printing, as
the inks last 100 years on on Epson's professional mat paper. If longevity
isn't an issue, then I print on an Epson Stylus 1280 which has the best
quality photographic reproduction I have ever seen including the 2000P.

I also have a Epson 880 which does a great job on photographs also, but
really doesn't compare with the output from either of the two printers
mentioned above if you place the prints side by side. I have used the
Epson's and the HP's and for photographic printing, the Epson printers are
simply the best.

All three of the printers I have mentioned are dependent on using Epson
Professional Mat Paper to get the very best results and using cheaper paper
will degrade your product dramatically!
