The Epson Stylus Photo 750 (or 900-1200) is a very good picture quality printer. You can't tell the difference between a real photo and what you print (high quality settings) out on photo paper from this machine. It also prints text pages reasonably quickly unless you have hundreds of pages to get out. Then, of course, you need a laser printer. The problems are: 1.) Ink, color or black, is expensive unless you use a net source, 2.) The ink jets clog often unless you have high (absolute not relative, i.e. grams of water/liter of air) humidity or you use the printer at least every other day. Once you know these two tricks, its a good printer.
It takes about 40 seconds from hitting the print button to print out one normal 360 dpi text business letter and about 30 seconds for each succeeding letter.
