I have a friend who built up a FireWire CD burner using a 24x10x48 Lite-On CD-RW and an Oxford 911 bridge equipped case. It works without a hitch on his iBook 500 and on my 7300/200 (via a cheap and frankly rather ropey FireWire card). I can only burn at up to 8x on it but I think my card is a bit flaky. A card from Orange Micro or Belkin would do the job much better. -- -- Mark Benson Any spelling errors are attributed to PEBKAC Vintage Macs List Nanny SilValleyPirate - AIM silicon_valley_pirate_uk - Yahoo!
