Hi John. > I use Mac OS X on a tricked out PowerMac 7500 with XPostFacto (freeware; > http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/)
I will be running OS X on a 7300, I already have downloaded Xpostfacto. > and can tell you from > experience, do not mix up your partitions! Keep your regular System Folder > as it is and use a different partition to install OS X (must be within the > first 8 gigs of the drive if I remember correctly). So I have to have two partitions on my primary harddrive to install OS X? I have a 18 gig SCSI internal drive that I will be using and it is only a single partition. > Within OS X, it will > allow you to upgrade to Mac OS 9.2.2. So here is the question. When I install OS X will my 7300 when powered up boot directly into OS X or is there something that I will have to do to get it to boot into OS X? As with two partitions and from what I understand from your email OS 9.1 will be on one partition and OS X will be on the other so how does the system know which OS to boot into?
