On my 8500/G3/400, one HD will not mount unless restart ??? The 1st HD always works, but the 2nd is recognized but not mounted on the initial start.
After restart all is well. I checked and adjusted the termination, cable connection and the SCSI ID of each HD. This happens no matter which HD I select for the "boot drive".
