Carl,
Have you tried installing each DIMM by itself (one
at a time)?  The 7500 does not require memory to
be installed in pairs, so maybe you can try one at
a time to see if only one of them is hosed.

Maybe the swapper who sold it to you might have some suggestions.
There are some very helpful people on that list, but
contact them off-list, as that is not a discussion list.
