You're right about that, Nancy. Replace the 32MB with a 64MB DIMM and you've got it made. > My hard drive is just 3 GB. I know that is not enough for any future stuff > I may want. . . . Any suggestions re the HD? You can get a 10GB SCSI drive for about $70 or less and a 20GB for only a few bucks more. Check online at Pricewatch.com, Pricegrabber.com, 800.com, bottomdollar.com, or any of a dozen or more other sites. Or find a local computer swap meet. Should be plenty of SCSI drives available there at competitive prices. My advice is to stick with drives that Apple understands and will be able to format, such as Quantum, IBM, Maxell, Fujitsu, Western Digital, etc. Some drives, like for instance, Samsung, are not Drive Setup friendly and will resist being formatted. > Also, is there a way to tell how much room I have on my HD? Click once on the HD, then go to the File menu and select Get Info. It will tell you the total capacity of the drive and how much free space is available on it. -- herb schulsinger Data Processing Consultants Member, Apple Consultants Network Macintosh Repair Specialist, Baldwin Park USD 626-968-5342 Valinda, California -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
