I've just bought Cheetah 18.2 gb, 10,000 rpm drive from E-bay connected to PM7500 via
SCSI PCI card. I have installed 9.1 with IE 5.0 from i macs installation disk.
Everytime I click on the IE icon. The drive makes swirling sound (louder than usual
noise) and keep doing it until I force it quits (by turning off the computer). When I
reboot, the drive booting all extensions until the starting drive icon appears, then
it continues swirling sound like no ending loop. SCSi prove and Apple system profiler
see it connected. Is there any suggestion I should try to solve this problem before
I return the drive to owner?

Thanks
