Without opening? noe come on the 7500 opens up real easy! a 2 second job! ;-)

That would be the EXTERNAL connection, the internal one's are 50 pin.
There being two of them as I recall, one is meant to be slower but I've seen a lot of
contradictory
babrling on that! Anyway I don;t spose a 7500 could house so much you'd need to use the
2nd chain! (which if i remeber is part of the external chain, a sort of internal
external bit, anyway
best to ignore it!!!)

Yeah either find a 50 pin drive or go for a 68pin one with an adaptor. I have a 9.6Gb
ibm in my 7500
with an adaptor an in work just fine.
There are 80pin drives about, I have a 4gb one sitting doing nothing, but I don't
think adaptor exist for
such things. And it's not really a standard anyway.

>If so, are there such adaptors, and how large of a drive can I get?

Yep such adaptor exist, mine was 10 (GBP) so I'd guess arounf $10 (us), cause
computer bits
ignore the exchange rates! (or at least we get ripped off in the uk)

As for size. Well being scsi I don't think there are any limitations involved, as big
a drive as you can dind should work.
