If on booting you see/hear the supply's cooling fan spinning and nothing
else, there may be some hope. Try resetting the motherboard by removing the
PRAM battery and powercord, and wait 20-25 minutes. Then hit the power key
and keep depressed for 20 seconds. Repeat a few times before reinstalling
the battery and reconnecting the powercord and restarting.
