I'll have to look at home on my Mac...I wouldn't trust System PRofiler 
to work with OldWorld machines too well either. It doesn't, for example,

No there isn't. Unix handles memory *completely* differently than the 
old Mac OS did.

No...you need to be running OS9 for the OS9 ram disk to work. It will 
never mount under OSX.

OSX, to put a not to fine point on it, is as much like OS9 as a Zebra is 
like a bicycle.

Your trick of copying the System folder to a ram disk isn't going to 
work with OSX unless you do some *serious* kernel hacking.
