I think your setup should be fine for CorelDraw 8. CorelDraw 8 has a conflict with Quicktime (all versions) when running on OS 9 there is a kludge to work around it. Feel free to contact me off list if you need it. The Corel web site has a couple update patches that should be run to use CorelDraw8 with OS 8.6. I am a one button mouser from way back, so I can not be of much use with other mouse devices. Kensington provides a great deal of customization with their products, so their trackball might be made to simulate all sorts of devices. I am not that familiar with the 7200, but if it has a PCI slot you can add USB very cheaply and she could then have a broader range of mice to choose from.
