You didn't make any mention of the ID's that are assigned.  I think
the 6500 only has a single SCSI bus (since it has IDE) so you'll need
to make sure that all the devices have unique ID's.  Also, the
termination could *possibly* be a problem.  Probably not, as the
termination would still be bad even with the drives off- again, I think.
