The ID are uniques, the termination is correct when external drive on because the ZIP drive is also powered and as termination set on "on". It may comes from the SCSI number itself, i never explored this way. When i don't power the external drive at startup and that i power it up while running yeah your right, the termination change and this make the freeze. So the solution is to power all up but that don't solve the problem that in this case, the internal drive is not mounted. Well then, i'll try the ID number issue. Not yet as this is not an urgent solution need but i notice and try later this year.
