I looked at the documation for pdisk. It apparently can't create HFS or HFS+ partitions.
I just downloaded it (the MacOS version)anyway and used it to look at my partition map. The version of pdisk that I managed to download, though, is rather old: "version 0.7a4 (18 February 1998)". Is there a later version available? Is there anything I need to do to avoid possible damage to those partitions that are already in use as HFS+ volumes? - Aaron >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (PCI PowerMacs) >Date: Mon, 07 Oct 2002 11:11:37 -0700 >From: Bruce Johnson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: Re: Silverlining Pro volume formatting problem. > >Aaron wrote: > > > Am I missing something, or is this a serious bug in Silverlining? > > > > I don't want to have to back up my data and reformat the entire > > drive, and I don't want to spend $50 or more on some better > > formatting software.
