My daughter insists on using Word rather than AppleWorks for her school
projects. On two separate occasions (2 different days) she has finished the
project and printed them, only to have the top inch or so cut off. Margins
seem to be fine, print preview doesn't show anything wrong, and simply
copying the work to a new AppleWorks file solved the problem temporarily.

Any suggestions, other than browbeating her into using AppleWorks?

Don't know which version of Word at the moment (at work).
