what about keepin one disk on each scsi bus ? i did not read it all from the start it seems - but if you only want 2 disks this would show if it works, AND I have had hd that actually worked well when you put the recommended jumpersetting mirrored upsidedown (PC disks) and THAT took some trying to figure out. I never had any termination problems with 1 cd and 2 - 3 scsidisks, I have a 7300
