How old is your OM card? I bought mine in April 2000. OWC told me,
"Early Orange Micro cards had real problems with the Firewire. In mid
2001 they made a design change that eliminated those problems".  So
my card was obviously one of the problematical ones. That's why I
have to replace it to run my new FW hard drive.
