Are you sure? I'm pretty sure all three Macs I've bought (6100, 7600, 8600) have all had termination on the hard drive (connected physically on the end of the ribbon cable) and the CD-Rom without termination and connected at the first connector from the mobo. Now I'm curious, and am going to have to look at the two still here, the 7600 & 8600.
STeve << at Apple does, knowing that every machine comes with a CD-ROM, is terminate the internal SCSI chain at the CD-ROM.
