Hi SJ, Norton WAS "king of the hill" back in the 68K CPU days; not any more. One of the guys suggested the one-two punch. . . . (Warrior and TT) He's right! Get yourself TechTool Pro 3 CD or burned copy of same and boot your computer from the CD by holding down the "C" key. You can then do a complete defragmenting and have a good look at the process while it's happening. You can also use TechTool for a multitude of other maintenance proceedures like; "Wiping Unused Space"; "Wiping the Trash"; "Rebuilding the Desktop"; and 50 other things.
