Oh, please do.
I'd love to know what happens, (or is supposed to happen,
immediately after the chime. My Mac often freezes at that point, on
both startups and restarts, from HD or System CDs. No signal to the
monitor, no response from the keyboard, except the three finger
restart. It has happened only since adding the G3 card and USB/FW
card.
