My printer appears to be out of ink because even after
cleaning the jets the sample page does not improve. In
fact it has consistently gotten worse! I am now down
to almost no ink showing up from every jet. The
problem is that the printer's utility reports that
there is approx half full status on each of the six
ink containers. The machine is predisposed not to
allow for indiscriminate ink handling and will only
"present" the cartridges in mid transport rail when
the "low ink" light is on. Anybody have any
suggestions? How can I force the machine move the
cartridges to the center of the carriage? In other
words: How do I convince it that it is out of ink?
