Count the pins. If it's 15 pins, it's an Apple II series 5.25". By the way, since you bring it up, the 15-pin 5.25" drives were sold for the later IIe and IIc systems as well as for the IIgs to replace the old ribbon-cable disk ][ drives (the black metal ones).
