 Sorry to say this Paul but if I was you I'd given up by now, to me its done,
 dead to be precise.  Haven't you closely checked the MoBo and made sure you
 didn't brake anything?  Of course if starting up without any RAM doesn't do
 anything there's nothing else you can do since you have tried everything else
 (starting w/ floppy [OS 8 in a floppy] with no drives connected, RAM or any
 foreign device).

 Be nice to know how I did it, so I could avoid doing it again . . . .
