I've almost got my old computer ready for my Mom, but am not sure which would be a better OS to install on her machine, 8.6 or 9.1. It's a 7600 with an 604e/200, and 208 Megs ram. It also has a OrangeMicro FW/USB card as well as a Initio SCSI card with an 18 Gig hard drive attached. I've been running 8.6 on it, but think she might like iTunes which requires 9.1. Is one more stable than the other? Does one seem faster than the other?
