Hi all, Yesterday while installing 8.6 on someones PowerMac 604e/210 the installation stopped and said it couldn't install on a drive not supported by Apple. . . or words to that effect.
Seeing that the "continue" button was still active, I clicked continue and the install proceeded uninterrupted and seems to have been successful. I opened Drive Setup wondering if I could "update" and got this message: "cannot modify a disk in an unsupported drive". I see that he has a drive supported (if that's the right terminology) by FWB and the Toolkit Folder is there on the startup disk. Will the OS 8.6 installation be fine regardless? Is there any proceedural update that I should do via FWB in a similar fashion as one would with Drive Setup? Thanks very much, Terry -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
