Yep I was able to join my Apple friends at the Apple store holiday event
and
it was great! In the King of Prussia, PA mall, my sister and I arrived
at
5:50pm (the store was to open at 6PM for the event) and the line took
TWO
whole walls of the mall (meaning like a street block continuing around
the
corner)! Everyone who didn't know would ask "what's this line for?"
then
we'd answer proudly "It's for the Apple store holiday event!". Some
people
didn't have a clue, some did and didn't care, some joined us and/or
agreed to
spread the word and some stupid people would pass by us saying "that's
for
the Apple store, THE APPLE store!" like saying it once wasn't enough or
like
they didn't want to get any closer.

The Apple associates were so helpful and one of them was as excited as I
was,
and said "look! two whole walls! this is how many Apple users there are
and
what they're willing to do for their favorite computer! you're at the
end of
the line but I am sure you don't mind do you?", I mean he was so
cheerful
he'd jumpstart anyone's soul, well... almost like Steve Jobs :)

It wasn't long till more and more people showed up. I mean the store
which
is about the size of two average size Radio Shacks (bad example but what
else
can I say?) was packed and we got to enter the store at about 6:30!,
needless
to say after 45 minutes of browsing a lookin throw the software, the G4s
and
the iMacs; I went out and there was still a few people in line. Upon
opening
the door at 6PM I could hear the sound of applause of all the excited
people.
Really a once in a blue moon event. I AM sure Apple did not expect THAT

many visitors and really hope they do this more often, a great
experience and
I am glad I was part of it. I could say that that store got easy about
2,000
visitors, still had quite a lot people when I returned at10PM then
finally
left at 10:45pm. The event was to last till midnight.

Just wanted to share my Apple experience with all of you guys and hope
some
of you had such experience too. Oh! I bought two softwares for my
children,
blue's clues and Disney's toy story activity center, I can't wait for
them to
come back from their thanksgiving vacation to give it to them since I
really
have a lot of others for Christmas already :)
