It's funny how people have different experiences. I have had 
outstanding tech support from these companies and had no problem with 
my rebate. Not to mention that Linksys and Maxtor are, or I should 
say, have been great products. I have found Maxtor to be a much 
quieter drive than Western Digital. I guess sometimes we just get on 
the wrong Bus and all hell breaks loose.
