Only that the Mach 5 "Kansas" systems has the L2 cache on the processor
card so when you upgrade the processor you also replace the cache and so
you won't have to fiddle with disabling it.

I believe the Mach 5's also shipped with a faster CD-ROM (24x instead of
12x), better video card (8MB of memory instead of 4MB), and an internal
zip as standard; though none of that may be worth much anymore.

No, there's only one processor slot ('One slot to rule them...').  :)

A video card is the best--and probably only--remedy for that.  :)

Not many Mac-compatible PCI video cards still being made.  I think ATI
is still making the Radeon 7000, which may be the best one.  Otherwise,
there's lots of cards on the used market.

If it has the ATI RageII chip then it's a Rev. A board; a RagePro chip will
indicate a Rev. B or C board.
