I've used Seagates, Maxtors, Connors, IBMs, Fujitsus, Western Digitals, while some certainly stand the test of time better than others, I've yet to find one that would not boot a Mac if it is functioning correctly. >2) Has anyone got a Fujitsu SCSI drive to work as a boot disk, and if so, >which driver did he or she use? I currently have eight Fujitsus and any of them will boot a Mac, PC, or Linux machine. However there can be OS issues involved. On one computer there are two 9 GB Fujitsus striped together in a Raid 0 volume. It boots fine running OS 8.6. The ATTO card that they are connected to will not boot a drive under OS 9.xx, though.
