"Ka-chuking' is definitely not a good sign.  You always hope that it isn't
hardware until the last, but odd noises usually mean trash-bound....

Some Seagates run really hot normally, but you definitely don't want to rely on a
drive that's iffy.  Better to chuck it for peace of mind.
