DVD players that can play MP3 discs (not all can) usually require only that the disc is ISO-9660 compliant (most support Joliet for LFN too) and that the MP3's have an .MP3 extension (so it knows what they are, the Mac file type can't be put on an ISO-9660 disc). Beware, some players require the files to be in a specific directory, or all in the root directory, while others allow you to group your music in directories for easier playing, check your manual. The most reliable way I can think of to make an MP3 disc on a Mac would be to make a "PC" format disc and just stick the MP3 files (with the right extension) on it. Don't worry if some file names are truncated, they may need to be 8.3 compliant or 31 characters or less, depending on how Toast wants to make a PC disc.
