Richard, I have wrestled with this MP3 problem in a slightly different way. I have a portable discman MP3 player thing. It plays MP3 CDs ok if written from a PC. It's great cos you can just keep adding CDs, tracks, music as you want. But I haven't managed to write disks off a Mac and get them to work properly. The problem is you can't just add things on a Mac CD as another session - it creates a new disc icon and the player will only read one 'disc'. By selecting ISO 9660 it works better but only plays every second track for some reason. I only have Toast 4.2, so I would be interested to hear how you get on following the MP3 instructions for Toast 5.
