Because AOL is an evil overbearing company. Worse than Microsoft IMHO. They censor everything you see and send. They even filter out websites that you are able to visit. Couple that with the fact that over 90% of all online crime against children and 60% of all Credit card scams are perpetuated through AOHell and you have a couple of very good reasons to switch to a *real* ISP. Especially since you are paying on average $6/month more than most other people.
