I read that it was possible to hook up a DVD player to an 840 on the lem
site so being interested in this sort of thing i connected the s video
cable's and the sound cables and belive it or not you can watch a DVD in
your apple video window on the mac screen you can also set up the Mac to
use the tv as a monitor useing the video lead's and then selecting the tv as
the startup monitor on restart but the monitor stays black as it only
displays 1 screen at a time .
The system i used was my 840 AV with 88 mb ram doubled to 176 running OS
8.1 and a samsung dvd player the window was not to big but the pic was
watchable and i was very impressed.
