Yep, Tripod and another (used to be popular) ISP that I can't remember, used
to bug me. Hated visiting their ISP's web sites. Popunders don't bother me
nearly as much cuz I can't see em unless I close my browser window. I tend to
quit Netscape, when I close the browser, but not always. So, what do you call
those annoying ones that are part of a web page? Staytheres? I hate those
worse than any of the others cuz you can't get rid of them easily. (I do know
there are programs that hide them) A few years ago I signed up for AOL's
HomeTown cuz it came with a lot more web space. I "unsigned" because it put
an AOL HomeTown banner at the top of each of my web pages. Okay, I'll bite.
What is LART?

STeve

<< Popup - Annoying ad that "pops up" over the top of the site you're
viewing.
Popular on Tripod, f'rinstance.

Popunder - Annoying mutant b*stard brother of the popup that comes up, THEN
hides under the window you're looking at so it's there to annoy you when
you close your browser.

LART - what should be applied to the creators of the popup and popunder
with great vigor, several times an hour. >>
