Those of us at the other end of the monetary pyramid form you often make do with those thing passed on to us, bought as salvage, or pulled off of scrap heaps. The monitor I am using at this very moment is a VGA Dell I pulled from a university scrap heap after an auction. There is a whole active world of people out here sans credit cards and SUVs.
