Start with extensions off. If it works, load Conflict Catcher by hand (Three parts, extension, reference (In extension folder) and Control panel. Then add a couple at a time (al la CC) until it crashes. Then try to run CC. If not, you can always do the CC thing by yourself.This is NUTS. I cannot check for problems on the 9600 because I cannot open ANY application... it crashes every time I try (with extensions enabled). Can't use Conflict Catcher, even! It won't find any conflicts if extensions are disabled, will it?
