Hello all, On my 5400/120, I am looking to purchasing OS 8.6 instead of using 7.5.5 because more software seems to run under 8.6 than does in 7.5.5. Is running 8.6 on this machine going to be a nightmare in terms of speed? I am upgrading RAM to 128MB no matter what happens.
Also, has anyone tried MKLinux on this type of machine? Is it any good? Would be nice to have a dedicated linux machine, especially if it could run OpenOffice and Mozilla and easily connect to my XP box for filesharing.
