8.6 can in some aspects be faster than 8.1 wh7ich seems to halt on odd occasions - spinning forever doing "nothing?" 7.6.1 with "appearance 8.0" version for 7.6 can run more 8.1 programs than just having 7.6.1 installed - you'll also get the fatter windowlook what software do you want to run ? kenta
