Straight MEK is no good as MEK is a solvent for styrene, and that part is ABS or acrylic. A good solvent for ABS and acrylic is Ambroid Pro-Weld. Pro-Weld contains an MEK base plus several other nasty solvents (methyl chloride, e.g.) as activators.
