I'll contribute as well on this one. I've got a Linksys Router (wired) with built in 4 port switch cascaded into a Bay Networks 8 port Hub.
I'm running a mix of Windows and Macintosh machines including a PCI-PowerMac, Powerbook, and two classic macs through that config. The PCI_PowerMac and Powerbook are going directly to one of the 10/100 Autosensing ports on the Linksys Router. THe two classics and a preponderance of my Windows machines take up most of the hub ports. I haven't had any problems at all with any of the cabling or router/hub. I had heard the same information about the Linksys Hub and Mac's. I think it was related to the 10/100 Autosensing piece and the Linksys not negotiating properly for the Macs... But again, no problems here. Cheers, Sionnach __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
