Subject: Linksys router question

<snip> I was told that the linksys routers have/had an issue
processing the apple talk packets and therefor made them pretty much useless
for lan networking Macs together but fine for net access. I have also been
told that this info was complete balderdash. I don't really know, but I
figured since they're pretty popular routers maybe someone on this list
could shed some light on the subject?
I have been using a Linksys BEFSR41 router with my Mac LAN and cable modem for years. No problems using AT to access/print to any/all of my Macs/printers (LW-IIg, Epson 740 w/ Axis Printserver). Just swapped it out for a Belkin Wireless Router to add a Ti Book as two routers do not seem to play well together.
