The StarMax computers are clones of the PowerMac 4400. The short answer is that you will be able to boot classic OS up to 9.1 on them, if they have either an ATAPI CD-ROM or SCSI CD-ROM with Apple ROM's. You can upgrade them with an L2/G3 card (currently only Sonnet is making one.) They have 2 IDE buses each capable of supporting one drive (same ROM bug as the early EDI Power Macs).
