Matt,
You are the second person I have heard claim that your 6500 has 8mb RAM
soldered to the logic board. The four 6500/250 in which I have installed RAM
(and one 6500/300) had none soldered to the board. Just two slots and they
shipped with one 32mb DIMM installed for a total RAM of 32.

I guess that some of the 6500 models were different from others. Obi-Wan?
Anyone?
