But it's an IDE device, and has no termination jumper.

Unless... I noticed before I installed X, that the Apple System 
Profiler recognized the hard disk partitions, as SCSI devices, even 
though it's an IDE hard drive.

  So, with the burner plugged in, would I have to then take the 
termination jumper off of the factory Apple SCSI CD-ROM, even though 
it's the only one on the real SCSI chain?
