Well, thanks to the lister that suggested the power supply. As I earlier listed, I made almost every hardware change possible with no difference. The only things were power supply and wiring.
I took the easy way out. Everything was in a Performa 636CD box and I transplanted CD, Floppy, HD and mobo to another performa box and it fired right up. I havent tried to load system software, yet, but "if it ain't broke"... On the other side, I did put a 5200 mobo and parts into the box that was giving me trouble, and it works fine now too.
